Hi (no first name) Warm welcome to the forum. Having checked on the 1934, 1935 and 1937 catalogues (O gauge) your shed is not there. Dimensions point to HO or OO size if these are metric. So I suspect it is a postwar American (because of the building style), Kibri or similar (definitely not Märklin postwar). It would be interesting to see the underside. Cheers Jean |

The measuring tape is in inches so it is a larger scale shed. The piece of track looks like Lionel stock. Harold.

As I noted in the original post, the section of track is Standard Gauge so it definitely is not an HO station/depot. The reason I feel that it is Marlin is because of the chimney style, it matches chimneys I have seen on other Marlin buildings but it could have been copied. I also feel that in addition to the chimney the embossed roof is the key to the manufacturer whomever it might have been. The manually operated roof signal is another clue and it looks to be European.
Thanks Nick.

Hi Nick It is not Märklin because it would be marked underneath and because it is not in catalogs from 1934 on (O and 1 gauge It is also not German style as in Märklin catalogues Jean |

A number of german manufacturers made models under contract to various English hobby shops between the wars.
