Hi, did you know if you install a mirror on the side of your layout you only need to buy half of your trains and this could save you 1000's of dollars and if you really short of cash you can add another mirror on the other side and suddenly you've got more trains you've ever wished for., could be an ideal Christmas present from your wife. |

Take a board, some plaster and build a mountain or two on top of your board. Add some boulders, some trees, maybe an alpine road and you have a comparatively inexpensive layout of the Gotthard or Loetschberg base tunnel. You can sit there for hours and imagine that somewhere underneath those mountains, trains are running in both directions. You will never have to buy another actual model RR item again, because they will all be in your imagination.
