I was getting frustrated with layout wiring so I decided a ride down to the beach would be good to clear my head.
About one mile from my house I spotted this cabinet in the trash.Drool WHAM! One fast U turn later and it's mine.
It is in great condition and came complete with glass shelves and a mirrored back. It also splits in half in case I decide to locate it under the layout front with lights. My layout bottom is at 36" from the floor and the two halves measure 35". Terrific! Finally something good happened to me.

Wow, some more intermediate floors by glass inside and it is a perfect glass gallery rail tower for your locos. Visible your locos from all sides, but hopefully not underneath your layout.Laugh

Wow, that is a nice cabinet. Just as well my wife didn't see it ... Laugh Laugh Laugh

Got to be careful taking stuff like that out of a skip here, as legally once it is in the skip it is the property of the skip company ... Wub

LOL For these purposes we live at the other side of the beach. It is the wrong side. Don't be afraid about your wife and the police.Laugh

A border collie with some horrible leg deformity?

A couple of dolls might fit into that case you have there...

Some things just happen to fall off the back of a truck. You should buy a lottery ticket with your good luck.
