Collectors,
I hadnt paid attention to a sticker on the box for my Rheingold car set 41928 that says MADE IN CHINA. I thought these cars were all built in HUNGARY. I immediately checked the other 41929 CAR SET I have, it says MADE IN HUNGARY.

Is this only one or two lots of 41928 that were built in China? I would be grateful if any member can point me to the thread, if this topic was discussed earlier.

Thanks
Vijay

Märklin "Made in China" has been discussed many times before in several threads.

I think Märklin's production runs are rather small and "one-time series" will be produced in one location only.

I take it for granted that Märklin never stopped selling items that are "Made in China".
