I have a Class 78 for which I wanted some coaches, The most fitting ones were the Piko 59687, 59688 and 59689. The last one being the control coach. I know that they are abit out of proportion for my 2m x 1m layout but I am in this for the enjoyment, not for scale tensions!
Anyway, they run very well with the original DC wheelsets and go around nicely - just missing the edges of my tunnel mouth - grin.
It appears that the control coach has lighting fitted because I derailed everything at one point and the interior lights came on. I assume that the wheel touched one outer rail and a puko.
OK to get to the point. If I wanted to light this coach from my three rail, how do I get a slider? I can't find one on Lippe. Also, would Lippe sell AC wheelsets? |
