Hi Geir

iam a newbie with CS3 programing , but i have tried to understand this "no manual" world ,so as long as i know:

Yes , i can say that you can activate two or more events with the same contact (S88 return or similar)

there is no diference if the signal comes from a single or a biderectional device, once the biderectional device controls 2 contacts, the main diference will be the logic off your program.

but there are "CONTACT" and "CONTROLS" , there are diference beetwin them

"CONTACT" must be a fisical return from the S88 or similar and works to start the EVENT (frist line on the dialog box)

"CONTROL" (second line on the dialog box) is a "STRONG TRIGGER" and can activate the event even with no presence of the "CONTACT"
this control are associeted with important system moments like "START SYSTEM" , "HALT RED LIGHT" , "GO Restart" "EVENTS GO"

"CONTROL" (third line on the dialog box) is a obligation that must be present whem the "CONTATC" ocours to the event be started
this kind of "CONTROL" must be a "CONTROL CONTACT" with logic administration and no direct conection with a S88

Thanks Marcelo
My problem is :
I have a CS3 with S88 link with contack tracks, trying to make a classic staging yard.Ref".Running trains digitally with the central station 3" marklin book

https://www.marklin-user...t/forum/posts/t42952-CS3

https://www.marklin-user...t42968-CS3-event-problem

The book says 3 contacts tracks to use,but I have to use 6 contacts tracks .

hi Geir ,

Im my opiniom, the yard , as planned, needs to recive the "ENTERING" command and the "LEAVING" command from the same contact track.
this is possible becouse the train will wait over the contact track.

Once you made the option to use the 24994 device, that is biderectional, but only able to creat a momentary contact, with the PROGRAMING LOGIC of "PASSING MOVMENT", it will not work fine.

So i see 2 solutions:

1- Change the 24994 device for the traditional "CONTACT TRACK" , and it will work fine , or

2- Use 6 X 24994 device , 3 to mark the entrance of the trains and 3 to mark the exit ,see the picture

all you need to do is consider the contacts ass follows:

"C-1.a" - OLD C5 arriving , will start event "Exit Track 2"
"C-1.b" - OLD C5 Departing, will start event "Entry Track 1"

"C-2.a" - OLD C6 arriving , will start event "Exit Track 3"
"C-2.b" - OLD C6 Departing, will start event "Entry Track 2"

"C-3.a" - OLD C7 arriving , will start event "Exit Track 1"
"C-3.b" - OLD C7 Departing, will start event "Entry Track 3"

the other items remains the same
