Hi guys Cool

Considering the gloomy weather in Longueuil, I'm doing tests with Anyrail in preparation for next year's future layout

And I come across a problem.
Look at curve 24430 on the right: a piece of rail is missing in a curve

Did I make a mistake somewhere? Apparently, no. Is it something else? A little Anyrail bug?

Oh yes, it’s you! BigGrin I repeat myself from your previous post on:

https://www.marklin-user...ith-Anyrail-in-this-plan

Between R3 and R4, you can’t have 246xx turnouts. You need 247xx turnouts, as the distance between R3 and R4 curves should be more narrow than the distance between R2 and R3 curves. Changing software will give the same result.

There are other ways to solve this, however, you need a distance of 64.3 mm between R3 and R4. Between R2 and R3, distance is 77.5 mm.

Cool

PeFu I'm stubborn, I know that. Cool

In this exercise, I did the same thing on the left and there everything is correct, but without starting a curve with 24671

essai 3 voies en courbe.jpg

On the right, except that I started from further away with a curve at the beginning with 24671 and 24672

For the curve on the left in the second drawing with 24671, I referred to this

So there's a problem in the second drawing

If you have time, do both exercises with your software to see

There is nothing wrong with the drawing , it has depicted what the drawer laid down.
i.e.
Inner trackspacing at the top let = 77.5mm (as per 24671/2 track pieces for a R1<>R2 spacing)
Outer trackspacing at the bottom right = 64.3mm (as per R3<>R4 spacing)

If the intent was for the tracks to meet then you need to lay down more appropriately dimensioned track pieces.

Thank you.

The only thing left for me to do is to reproduce the second drawing in reality. I will when I dismantle the layout before I move.

It has to work for the new layout next year.0

I'm moving on now.

As clapcott explains, the problem is that you switch from R1-R2-R3 in the upper left corner, to R4-R3-R2 in the lower right corner. There should always be 64.3 mm between R4 and R3, everywhere else you have 77.5 mm.

I would propose that you do the same drawing using R3-R4-R5 only, and 24771/72 as well as 24711/12 turnouts.

Hello PeFuCool

I will see that in a few months...it will all depend on the family room I have in July 2020.

I would like to reproduce the same layout I have now: I have seen the mistakes I made in design and construction. It's all in one file.

I want to deepen Itrain's automatisms on the current layout which, given our decision to leave, has only one level. I will put pictures in the next few days in Laurentides-Neutsdadt III
