Six years outside did cause a lot of deterioration. Quite a beast, with a 25,000 gallon tender.

Agreed on that last comment- no way that 6 years outdoors in northeastern USA weather could have done any good. Can't be worth much more than scrap at this point

I have the DVD called "Barry scrapyard story" which shows the rescue of more than 200 British steam locomotives
from the scrapyard where they had been standing for 10+ years.

It is amazing to see now what happened to these piles of rust.
