I recently bought these two shunting locos, which are both very interesting and stunning.
Allthough they came from two very far away countries, they seem to be very similar:

- From Switzerland the Ee 3/3 with rod drive. The Märklin model comes with Sounddecoder and LED lighting with Swiss headlight / marker light code changeover.
- From Sweden the Ub 709 SJ with rod drive. The Märklin model comes with Sounddecoder and LED lighting without red lights. Therefore, it is equipped with Telex couplers.

I made a short comparison video demonstrating the Sound:

For additional information about the Ub 709 SJ, see my blog, where I show how to repair the Telex coupler, which are connected to a SUSI circuit board: https://modellbauhuette.dettenbachtal.de/modelle/maerklin-ub-709-sj/
