Hello everyone ! Thanks for adding me as a new member. I tried to draw a very simple and basic figure 8 track plan...but it doesn't work ! What can I do ? Thanks for your help. Sorry if this question has been asked too many times before.

The 24071 track sections are too expensive for me. That's why I don't want to use them..

Probably K-track will be cheaper? This is my test-track to test run or to program a locomotive. Double slip 2260 can be substituted by 2 pcs of 2206 (one on a bridge above the other).

Using a 24640(24624) may be an alternative If you wish to persue the use of the 24649 then you may vary the earlier suggested solution by moving the 24206 segments slightly to allow changing the 24071 to 24077s If you are after - only the most common track segments (best bang for your buck) - wish to remove the tight "S" - show off "progressive" curving (Straight into R2 into R1 out to R2 out to straight) - have a nice visual run for a long train - offer tidier geometry for variation (because of its 2 axis symmetry) - - can replace the 4 x 24230s with 4 x 24330s (#1) - - can replace 4 x 24130s with 4 x 24230s (thus giving "progressive" curving ( R3 into R2 into R1 out to R2 out to R3)) (#1) - - can replace the 4 x 24224s with 8 x 24912s - The 24224s may be replaced with turnouts 24671/2 to join the upper and/or lower humps (need 8x 24172 + 1 x24075) #1 adding 4 x 24330s and relocating the 4 x 24230 will mean adding a 24077 in each of the straight legs #2 altering the 4 x 24224s to 8 x 24912s will mean reconfiguring each 4 x 24188s section to 3 x 24172 + 1 x 24094 ...
