Hi again,

I have always been impressed by Vollon et Brun ( VB) equipment and they had some lovely long low wagons with loads in the early 60's.
One of their loads was a heat exchanger and a devout follower of VB in France has a website of his VB layout worth looking at.
He made some amazing copies of the original loads and I have included a photo from his web page.
I didn't have a long low loader but I did have a bogie low sided cast VB wagon and I adapted the heat exchanger to fit this.
It is brass with Delrin rod core, screwed from each end. The heat sink vanes were milled from Delrin.
The tricky bit was making the fire extinguisher and carry trolley.

The one at the front is his model and the rear is original.

Cheers,
