I damaged a part on my old Class 103, Märklin item 3657, a few years ago when I re-soldered the wire for the slider. I partially melted the plastic piece which the slider attaches to and I would like to replace it. Unfortunately I don't have a parts diagram and it is too old to appear in Märklin's database.

If anyone has a number for the part shown below I would greatly appreciate it and bonus points if anyone knows how I might obtain one. ThumpUp

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Thanks Mike and Costas. I see "Isolierung (ohne Kabel) 214700" in that listing for #3357, which is exactly what I need! I knew that there were many other models with the same architecture but did not know what they were.

Once again this forum saves my butt - you guys are the best! ThumpUp

A couple of years ago I did the motor upgrade but it still did not run well with the cheapo kit decoder. Yesterday I installed an mSD/3 decoder which is almost as configurable as an ESU decoder and I have a lot yet to learn about the details of its configuration. I started with a 103 project from the Märklin server and did the auto calibration run. Now it has sounds and runs better than the day it was new over 20 years ago! Cool

Now I just need to change out that part and it will be perfect!

Thanks again. ThumpUp
