Hi,

I sometimes get an odd messgae on my MS2 saying something along the lines of "No feedback received from MFX loco". It never seems to cause any issue, but does it indicate a problem?

Thanks

Hi

I don't have an MS2 but a CS2 and sometimes I have such a warning "die Lok xxx gab keine Antwort" (the Loco xxx gave no feedback)..
This is when you try to change a parameter (CV) on the loco and the CS2 / MS2 received no feedback. No problem, usually you need to try again.
On my layout, the output power is 5 A (the CS2 is powered by a 60101 that is 100W) which works very well but means that the received signal from an MFX loco is weakened by the large number of other current-absorbing devices (30 locos, 60 switches, 30 lighted cars, etc. Now I do new loco registration on the programming track to make it work every time.
Cheers

Jean

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. This only happens when I'm driving trains around. I have four locos and no accessories.

Thanks
