As a follow up on this topic and as there are many types and grades of oil, what is best for Marklin Loco's. For many things I use a Silicone oil that is like water in viscosity, would this be appropriate for 1950's to today's loco's from Marklin.Blink

I use the original Märklin oil. A drop of oil on the squeezing axle and we are up andere running again.
