Browsing through the list of published new items brochures listed at Stummis Neuheiten list I came up the Brekina NI brochure at http://www.mbs-sebnitz.de/media...A-Messeprogramm-2019.pdf. Those wanting a Ford Capri or Granada eat your heart out ... BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Indeed, I know its not Capri Sun (Sonne)... the Capri was one of the few Ford cars I'd ever thought I'd like to actually own. Now they don't make cars for the US anymore at all.

It was way BETTER than the US Mustang model - Ford Europe put out some much better cars than their Detroit mothership.

The rest are just American cultural expressions of joy that doesn't translate well.

Bright green targa with the panels off ordred. Now if they would make a yellow 997 targa I'd be set.

Unfortunately no mention of the big steam locomotives, including a Garrat, that have been forecast for the last two years. However that diesel shunter looks rather nice as are the mechanical refrigerator wagons

Busch New Items 2019 ...

Some gnomes for the garden ... along with other garden accessories ... BigGrin

I like some of the 'action sets'. Also every layout needs some 'sleeping policemen' for their back streets ... Laugh

For 25 years of Busch motor vehicles they seem to have a good range of older vehicles.

Some bits there I will be considering getting.

For those who haven't been following the Stummis Neuheiten 2019 thread ...

Link to the Viessmann NI Flyer for 2019.

Highlights - for those who like action on their layout, a woman hitting her husband over the head with a rolling pin.

And to keep Goofy happy, a point motor and decoder for C track that will also report the point position using Railcom.

Link to the Kibri and Vollmer NI Flyer for 2019.

From the Vollmer range you can now have a statue of the Musicians of Bremen or a statue of Charlemagne. Kibri has some large transport vehicles.

I'm really puzzled by the modeling of one of the figures in the 'pee break' set. How is the woman peeing with her pants up?

Found the Noch PDF courtesy of Stummis list.

Along with Preiser and NME (which has a wide selection of grain hopper cars)

Hm, I'm guessing they didn't get Schröders or descendent's of Kiesinger's permission to use them in the 70 years constitution set (13400) of chancellors at Preiser?

On the similar 70 years since founding the GDR set (13403) I assume they left out Lothar de Maizière and Erich Honecker and Egon Krenz for political reasons.

In the Herpa 05/06 Brochure there is a bunch of interesting trucks on page 7.

At the bottom of the page there are three Mercedes Benz trucks with Tipper "Stuttgart 21" all done in collaboration with Marklin !!!

Huh ??? Confused Confused Confused does this indicate that the Marklin Summer NI will have at least one item to do with "Stuttgart 21" station construction project? I can't think of any reason why else these would be done "in collaboration with Marklin". I don't recall seeing anything in the Marklin NI to do with "Stuttgart 21", and haven't gone back and checked, but could be proved wrong.

Märklin does have some Stuttgart 21 in the 2019 NI.

Ah yes, of course. I wonder if those tubs are interchangeable with the ones on the Herpa vehicles? That may be where the collaboration is occurring.

This would not be the first cooperative models between Herpa and Maerklin. The current Maerklin container cars all have Herpa containers. The sole difference is that most of them have modified containers with feet, whereas the normal Herpa models have sockets. In the 47706 Swiss Post set, the containers were modified for Maerklin with feet, but the ones with the Herpa Truck came with adapters for use with sockets instead.

I wonder if the Maerklin models will come with load containers with feet or whether they will work with the 084192 type adapter, also used for the 47052/47053 and some of the 47051.00X series?
Conversely, will the Herpa models have feet, unlike most Herpa models?

There was another company which offered some Stuttgart 21 models in 2018. I think it was Rocky Rail out of Belgium.

https://rocky-rail.com/new-sgmmns-40/
These models probably also have Herpa loads.
The difference is that these cars are only 40+ft long instead of 60+ft like the Maerklin Sgnss.

Regards

Mike C

Krois-Modell car system. It is in German, so it is just an idea for the ones that like me don't speak German.

It is an interesting alternative system that provides for spacing between the vehicles on the same road that uses a laser diode and transistor to bounce signal off of obstacles. So things don't collide with things in front. An alternative where the collision prevention is all on the vehicle.

Thanks for the post - you don't need to speak German to see how cool this stuff is. Cool

What a great action addition to a layout - something else for me to definitely consider, because my love of cars is even greater than my love of trains. BigGrin

This ain't going to be cheap. Cool

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.
