Hello everyone. Just putting together my first order for Marklin stuff and trying to see the differences between Lippe, Lokshop and Joes. On the way, I found this.

I am interested in buying the little Lok 36244 and three coaches to go with it, namely 4313. 4314 and 4315. On Joes these are listed at 27.90 and 30.90 euros. Total is Euro 89.70. However, Joes lists the set of three as 43131 at 199.90! On Ebay the set is listed at 139.00.

Why should I pay 40 euros extra to get them in a box. I think that, maybe, the set has lights. Is that the difference?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The set 43131 has interior lighting and marker lights installed.

But it has no slider, so you need a loco that provides power to the coaches.

Sp, I presume that Lok 36244 doesn't have this. How would I be able to check?

Yep. You'd have to install that yourself.

Look for "Current-conducting couplers" in the product description.

Loco 36082 was advertised for the 43131 set and it has power-conducting couplers.
