Hello!

Does anyone know if the uncoupler light mast (5113 or 74997) is modelled from any real world prototype?

Conversion of European trains to automatic couplers was planned for around 1970, but there are some small delays (like with the Berlin airport).
Uncoupler light masts are not yet in wide use in Germany.

Most likely this is a case of "Das Original gibt es bei Märklin".
