See the Silver Fox 60017 at full steam. Looks like post war early 50's era


Silver Fox' No. 60017 locomotive, 1955. One of the original four Class A4s built in 1935 for the Silver Jubilee express between Kings Cross and Newcastle, seen here leaving Welwyn South Tunnel on the down Tees-Tyne Pullman. London and North Eastern Railway's streamlining was very effective, although this was rather negated by the wartime removal of valencing over the coupled wheels to make access to the motion easier.
