I'll put some photos in a thread on the IMA.

More and more Germans are thinking they speak the better English than an English native speaker. It is a pitty. I am sorry for it and it confuses the people. Often these Germans even do not know their own language correctly. Yes, in the English version at MSL website they write "delivery date". In the German version MSL writes "Erscheinungsdatum", which actually means release date. For me, the loco is released but not delivered yet. Going to the Maerklin database website, it is more confusing. They write temporarly not in stock, ask your dealer.

Yes, but when you watch steventrains posts here you realise that that the 'temporary not in stock' message comes up just before items get released. Give it a little time, like a week or so and they will be shipping.

He told me a delivery date by December 2019 given him as a MHI dealer, but he emphasized this is a noncommittal date. Nevertheless he would recommend to order the loco. The request is quite high.

I think that these will sell out very quickly Wolfgang, in the same way that many of the surprise locos after 2015 have become instant classics. The IMA ones are always desirable IMO because they usually bring some real innovation to model railroading. If you really want one you should not hesitate though, because the opportunity may close quickly. |

I'm a little surprised to see the 39436 not yet sold out.
It must not be as popular as some of the other surprise locos, like the SNCF 241, which sold out almost immediately. |

Jim

Yes, I have that Primex one, and you're right, this one seems to be a different blue. I'm not sure if it's the blue of the original E10 and E41, or the blue of the Br03.10, Br05 and other steamers released by Marklin in recent years. Maybe it's neither! |
