Looking for a good book(with lots of pictures since I do not speak German) that shows the steam operations of the DRG/DB in northern Germany and in specific the ore train(long henry) operation, terminals ect. I am sure such book will be in German, so lots of pictures is what I am looking for to get modeling ideas for my new layout. Or if you have pictures you can post, please do. Thanks Mike the Aspie

The last depot for the steamers hauling "Langer Heinrich" trains was Rheine. Below photo blog starts with Rheine steam depot photos, scrolling down you will find photos of steam-hauled "Langer Heinrich" trains in northwestern Germany:

Sure looks like you will need a heck of lot of ore cars and plenty of room, according to the pictures!
