Hello,
Can some of you please explain me the differences between the DH500 3078.1 and 3078.2.
Koll's PREISKATALOG says for the 3078.1:
...an der Seite mit je 4 Zapfen (google translation: on the side 4 cones each)
Koll's PREISKATALOG says for the 3078.2:
4/2 Zapfen (google translation: 4/2 cones)

I don't know what cones are they talking about... Can someone help, please?

I have this question because I would like to kno wwhat version is mine. The box is from 1970, but as I bought it on ebay I am not sure if the locomotive is version 1 or not. It is blue with silver stripes and SFCM, so I think it is version 1 or 2.
Best regards,
Miguel

Hello

These cones refer to some small inverted cones that are at the bottom of the chassis, attached two photos

3078.2 3078-2.jpg

Hope this helps

Hello,
Thanks! The 3078 I have has 2 cones in one side and 4 on the other side, so I assume it is version 2 and that means it is not earlier than 1979.
Am I right?

Best regards,
Miguel

Hello

I do not have that locomotive so what I say is what I understand of Kolls, I understand that the 3078.1 has 4 cones on each side, while the 3078.2 has 4 cones on one side and two on the other, this, the 3078.2 began to manufacture in 1979 and has remained in catalog until 2005.

Thanks.
I have 1996 Koll's, so I was not seeing the end date of production of the .2.
