Hi,
It`s about loco 3312.
Before I buy, please be so kind to share your experience.

Is it the same loco in train set 2857 ?

Any issues, flaws with it ?

Thanks for sharing.
Regards

There are differences:

Koll says:
The train set 2857 is from 1984, the locomotive is weathered and has a running number 1205, the middle counterweight on the wheels can be larger.
The locomotive 3312 is from 1985, it is not weathered and has the running number 1206

I have both, no issues. I got both models in their original configuration.

What does ``weathered`` actually mean ? Cannot tell from images (the difference in colour. or something else ?).

Thank you

Weathered means "gealtert". The loco in the set looks a bit dirty. A touch of brown paint applied with an airbrush.

There is another difference, perhaps not obvious in the photos. The loco from the set (1205), has a green boiler and domes, and only the smokebox is black. The other loco (1206) has an all black boiler with gold bands.
