A friend of mine is selling 2 buildings for a woman whos husband died. All he knows is they are tin plate and seem to be all there and in good condition. From the way he described them I think one is a signal tower and the other is to change 6 sets of points.I tried to search on the internet but cant find anything from the numbers he gave me .If anybody has pictures of both units i would appreciate it if they would post them. Marklin 456 and Marklin 473. The woman wants 150 Euro for both. Is this price high or low . Many thanks Eddie

Hi Eddie,

At 150 euros I would snap those up immediately!

The 456 would normally sell from 250-450 Euros, and it is fitted with a whistle which can be activated from a control box.

The 473 would sell for 50-100 Euros, and it can be wired up to act as a control box for points and signals, although these must be the earlier single solenoid ones.

Best regards
Peter

Have you sold the already Eddie? A 456 would be great if she's still in working condition
