I was considering the 36635 Rem 487 of SRT (Swiss Rail Traffic).
This is not a locomotive that is found hauling average trains. Most of the photos that I have seen involve the lok pulling RailAdventure cars attached to new transits from Stadler as they are shipped out of Switzerland. The occasional photo with just the RailAdventure cars returning to Stadler for the next pickup.

This is probably the type of train that I would model:

Today, I saw the first dealer photo of this new model:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Marklin-...75011:g:owoAAOSwEVpbjV0K

The photo is not very clear, but the paintwork seems to be inferior to what was pictured in the official catalog/web photo released by Maerklin.

Does anybody have this model yet and can you post a few photos?

Thanks and regards

I pre-ordered this, but it will be a month or so before we see this arrive in the US. Hopefully, the paint is well done. Here is a link to some info on this lok:

At least one shot hauling a Railcare container train. Since it is leased out, you can almost justify it pulling anything you want.

Looks like an issue with the black paint on the sides?

Every Märklin fan should have a black paint marker to resolve such issues.
Simple fix when the issue is with black.

It looks like pad printer simply didn't quite reach the sides of this lip thing for the flex-panels. I guess Märklin doesn't really care since it's only what they used to call a "hobby" locomotive.

Do you happen to know if there are any models of the cars made for H0?
I saw they use two different types of wagons, one being a so called Tams wagons from a company called "Loko trans", but I'm unable to find anything about the container wagons.

Also if I remember correctly SRT will be transporting this years harvest of sugar beets together with Sersa, perhaps this will give some prototypical examples for trains with the common Eaons cars.

For those who bought the 36335 and are looking for a consist to run it with, SRT has in cooperation with Sersa taken over the domestic sugar beet traffic from SBB Cargo.
This season, they are running some trains with Rem 487 001, along with a couple of BLS Re 4/4 leased by CJ and Sersa.

http://www.bahnbilder.de...aison-hin-haben-srt.html

The cars are similar in design to the 47079 or 47097 Sgns cars, with 3 specially designed 20 foot containers.
I don't know if these containers are available in HO.

From what I have learned, the sugar beets are loaded onto Eaos and other cars equipped with bogie adapters running on the CJ (Chemin de Der du Jura) and BAM. They are then transported on the standard gauge network by CJ/Sersa leased BLS Re 4/4 and SRT's Rem 487:

My 36635 arrived from AJCKIDS today. Lots of fun trying to get it to register on my ECoS. I ended up registering it on my Mobile Station (60653 w/latest software) and, then, putting it back on the track to try to register it with my ECoS. No joy, so I tried it on my trusty old 6021 and it worked no problem. Finally, I tried to configure it manually in my ECoS, but it wouldn't work. Then, I noticed that my ECoS was trying to register it. Twice it failed, then, finally, on the third try it worked!

The paint doesn't look as bad in real life as it does in some of the close up photos on-line, so I will leave it alone. Glad to finally have this as I missed out on this a few years ago when it was offered by Piko.
