I recently purchased a wagon with Säuglings-Fürsorge der Stadt Berlin written on the side. The translation does not seem to make a lot of sense to me (Babies in the care of the city of Berlin).
Can anybody on this site please explain what these vehicles were actually used for?
many thanks

Hi,

The " Säuglings-Fürsorge der Stadt Berlin " was a charity organisation which feeded babies which were in a critical social surrounding. The car was used to transport selected cow- milk to Berlin.

The prototype really existed.

Regards

Markus
