Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Here someone published an instruction: http://www.modelleisenbahn-analog.de/?p=166
Maybe google helps translating. He uses shrinking tube to insulate a part of rail.

Regards

Markus

When I had M tracks, I used the Littfinski RM-GB-8 unit instead:

Works very well, and there is no need of adjusting the tracks ThumpUp

Yes.. I use the Viessmann 5233, which is the equivalent of those LDT uints, on my 5200 curve tracks. However, they only detect a current running through a slider. So they are good for intermediate sections (i.e. detection sections between start/stop/braking sections), but not for start/stop sections as the loco stop point will depend on the location of the slider..

It is a real shame that Marklin did not make 5200 series contact tracks.. Sad

Hello

I use the following method:
I stick a sheet of kitchen film on top of the rail to be insulated, and on top of this film I stick a sheet of aluminum foil, I solder a cable and that's it.

you can see Here
