PIKO (with an I) is made in China for the most part H0. G-scale is made in Germany.

The PIKO factory in China is owned by PIKO and manufacturers only PIKO products. The products have a very good balance between price, quality and details. Most of my recent loco purchases has been PIKO locos. I really feel I get value for my money.

There is nothing secretive about PIKOs production. PIKO seems very proud of the China factory. Here is a video about the production in China (in German, but you will get the idea).
