Dear all. Marklin have anounced the new international ICE in Z, I’m not sure if they have done it in HO? But is the international ICE train the same train as the New Eurostar? It looks the same? Is the body the same, but with tech differences. Thanks Dan

I would think not. The "ICE International" as near as I can figure out is a Dutch based ICE 4 train, while the Eurostar is an TGV based train.

These train are related. The Marklin ICE3 (88715) is a model of a DBAG BR 406 which is a multi-system train that is used for international services. Siemens developed the Velaro class of trains from the older 403/406.s. The latest Velaro used by DBAG for international services (including services via the Channel Tunnel) is the Velaro D or BR 407. The Eurostar train is a Valero e320 (British classification class 374). The e320 and the 407 are different technically. Visually, the BR 406 is similar to the e320 but I think that you will find that the roof details are different.
