I've been persuaded to exhibit at Trains @ Trinity on Saturday 9th June so please come along and join me if you can make it, and if you can bring something to run (Marklin HO). It's a small biennial show held at Trinity Methodists Church, Shortmead Street, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire SG18 0AP. It would be nice to see you.

'Operation Overload'. Unfortunately, not a good day. Very frustrating. It was one fault after another. Trains derailing and track wiring current contacts shorting-out. Eventually, just before lunch, I had the power supply to the track sorted out and by swapping locos over I managed to overcome the derailing problems, caused I think by the coupling being too short between one of my locos (Piko 245) and the Marklin dopple stock set. And a MFX loco that subonly refused to programme on-track to the CS2. After lunch, I got around two and a half hours of continuous faultless running. Some damage sustained though I'm afraid, the 'bunny ears' on the 218 double traction got broken and the draw-bar coupling between them kept being pulled-out due to the hesitant running earlier with the track fault; and the 151 double traction, again the draw-bar snapped through twisting I'm afraid. So not a good day.

Regarding loading the MFX loco on to the CS2 when it refuses to register automatically from the track. Can anyone enlighten me on what to do when the CS2 doesn't recognise it and says helpfully "Is this perhaps a MFX loco?" The answer is "yes" but there is no clue as to what to do next. Any helpful suggestions welcome. Some have come in on the other T@T posting.

Apologies, I have just seen your post. I live near by and could come and bring some of my locos. If you do it next time please P.M me as I don't follow all sub forums.

I have a mix of analogue and early digital.

Nice to hear from you HO Collector.

The T@T show is only held every two years and I don't think this years was a great success regards attendance so it could be the last.

Max also brought some stock along to run on my layout but we couldn't get it running for very long which was disappointing.

Let's hope it's not the last show. I'll try to keep you posted.
