Joined: 30/08/2016(UTC) Posts: 636 Location: Brussels		I suppose the dark colour of the smoke on real steamers comes from suspended particles of soot, ash, and other gunk which eventually settle out on the surroundings. That might be a realistic step too far for most model layouts.
