In Austria had GKB loks & wagons been mixed with OBB or other companies?

No answer from me, but I am also curious about it - local line wagons mixed with state railroad wagons as well as state railroad trains pulled by local railroad loks on some specific lines...

Maybe some of our Austrian members can shed a light on this...Smile

I myself am actually very interested in if this happened in other European countries too...

Hi,
Certainly private railways in Denmark which gradually became absorbed into DSB by the 1990s, all ran their freight vehicles on the DSB prior to being absorbed.
I can't remember the names of all the companies, there were quite a few. FFJ was one (J for Jutland).
