Always wanted one of these and here's one on Ebay UK.

How much would you expect to pay?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i...sid=p2060353.m1431.l2649

I'm perfectly happy with items that are a bit battered (as is this) and am OK about giving them a good service etc. My layout is analogue only.

What I don't want is 1) the likelihood of zincpest and 2) spending too much money on an version that has a particular collector's value. About this I wouldn't know.

Any advice welcome!

I don't think there will be much likelihood of Zincpest on that one. Primarily the older CCS 800's are hit worst by that. If you are looking for a crocodile this would be the one to buy... the 3015 is hardly differentiable from the version just a few years before which bears the CCS 800 model number and is more expensive. The condition on this one is fair - namely the rust.

Here's another example on eBay-US

https://rover.ebay.com/r...9%3Ag%3AjnAAAOSwcSJa2kvY

Without box you'd probably be looking at $400 - $500 for a decent 3015 ... the CCS 800 is closer to $1,000 without box.

Best

Paul

I guess between 200 and 250 GBP.

Maybe under 200 if no serious bidding.

Please read seller feedback, Not 100%

Thanks all, we shall see how it goes, maybe the seller's negative feedback will keep the price down!
