I now no longer require a three way turnout but despite deleting the turnout decoder from the keyboard I appear to be unable to use these keyboard numbers for two way turnouts. I realise I am missing something here but if I delete the turnout for a two way it is then free for use. Presume it is something to do with using two numbers for a threeway. Don't have the decoder now but think it was a Viessmann.
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

How did you delete it from the keyboard? Normally what I do is select a different device (signal, uncoupler, 2 way turnout, etc.) for the first address, save it and then it frees up the second address.

Hi Peter. I just clicked on the delete button for both numbers (wee bin I think) and presumed that was all that was needed for the keyboard numbers.

I will try what you say but it does seem an odd way to do it. Thanks for your reply.

I believe that for the keyboard the individual addresses need to be defined for something, even if it is just the default red and green push buttons. That is why I questioned the deletion of the 3 way turnout function without replacing it with something.

Anyway glad it worked.
