I did checking after Wurttemberg C locomotive yesterday and it did showed yellow symbol.
Today it present red.
Will this mean the locomotive is already sold out!??
Or production stoped?

Either a database error or just sold out overnight.

Märklin has us just where they want us IMO. Almost all of their models which I have wanted lately have sold out immediately. I have the ones that were so obvious that I didn't have to think about them and the ones I waited to decide about were long gone by the time I made up my mind.

The things I get are cool and exclusive but I end up buying a lot less. I hope that this is what Märklin management intends because this is the reality that I see today.

On the bright side I end up spending less money on my trains and I did need a way to constrain my buying - I just never expected that help to come from Mother Märklin herself. BigGrin

Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Jim, we're back to the good old days, you're getting told what you can have and not what you want.BigGrin but we have a choice today: pay up in advance or miss out on a deal you may never regret, or should I say: regretful., time will tell,

if you're young, wait for 20 years and you will find your favoured locos will be cheap as chips.

I can't see the point paying over Euro 400.00 for this loco when you get an older version (3311) for under Euro 100.00, add a sound decoder, smoke generator and you've got your 37118 and you can call your new converted loco a one time series..

Goofy, there have been a few of these locos produced by Märklin I'm sure, in principle, they are all the same (manuals) the difference would be a sound decoder and smoke unit.

The manual will be exactly the same as for its predecessor 37117, after Märklin modified the model to accommodate the nowadays motor. One thing was improved, in addition to the extended (and updated) sound functions: The possibility to install the smoke generator:

I agree with that point of view John. I have a lovely Class C with a Faulhaber motor, item number 3611. I upgraded the decoder two years ago to an ESU V4, but I should have done a sound decoder. I still need to do that and add a smoke generator and then it will be perfect once again!

If you could find one of those older locos you could upgrade it and have a beautiful loco for a lot less money than the new one, which is what I would recommend as well.

Jim
