Never heard the ridiculous expression of 'knocking down a signal' before. I wonder how he would express a train accident in which a train actually knocked a signal down.

You read the comments section and found out what they meant? I went there expecting to see a signal or boom gate get hit not what they call tripping a signal from red to green

I worked it out when he said it as the signal changed, and saw it in the title. Nuts.

It's really long train, and the impatience of the pickup driver at the end is very obvious...

Like it, shows how much goods a train can move in one go, compared to other means of transport.

He was certainly approaching the red signal very slowly, and even once it went green there was no perceptible increase in speed for a while. I did expect to hear the locos put some power on but I'm not familiar with what LNG powered locos sound like.

I was also intrigued with the one tanker between two locos arrangement. I presume the locos do not have suitable tanks where the diesels normally have tanks slung under the chassis, and this tank is the only source of fuel.

There is no mention of LNG in any of the links I found for these engines, not even the FECR release about delivery of the first ones. I presume the gas operation is a later adaption.

These drivers don't seem to have a high opinion of them.
