The Marklin ones are tidy low profile units, most other solutions are bigger but could be modified for under baseboard installation. The other decision is analogue or digital control. I have a similar project to think about in the near future. I occasionally take Gauge 1 to local exhibitions and having to get to turnouts is a pain. Graham
