This outstanding film is the full version of the LMS film from 1935 and shows all of the processes in the building of the “Princess Arthur of Connaught” at Crewe workshops.

I agree - this is an outstanding film and it captures the industrial processes of that time in very nice detail. It is well worth watching for anyone interested in either steam engine technology or just general industrial processes from the first half of the 20th century. It was interesting to see so many people involved in the manufacturing process and in doing what would now be accomplished almost exclusively by machines. A true look back into a time gone by.

Thanks for posting this link! Cool

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.
