Hi, this goes for any gauge, but you need some serious tools to do it, I know your hand is the most common use to fix the problem but just think how it's done with the prototype, the problem with videos its sometimes in a foreign language and in this case: you guessed it: German but the stages how it is done you don't need to understand what they are saying.
What I can't understand nobody has produced a hydraulic lifter in 1:87. (lol)

I hope you enjoy the video, so the next time your loco derails you know what to do, pick it up with your handBigGrin

Very interesting, but just remember to have the radio on so you can keep up with the football ... ThumpUp

Interesting to see the techniques involved. I could see a lot of these being cleared in relatively short order once the crew arrived on site.

Like you say, it would be a nice wagon to model. Did the tunnel rescue train have something like this in its consist?

This is exactly what I want to use my crane train to do (in my case pretending the little Robel has the capabilities)... shut down the segment (reroute other traffic if possible) - and send in the crane. Once the crane is there THEN I'd use my hand to pick it up and rerail/fix.
Toys of tin and wood rule!
