With apologies to this of you barred from watching BBC iPlayer there's a new series of Great British railway journeys and in this attached episode he visits Maghull near Liverpool where the original Meccano and Hornby were made. And then on to the finest Grade 1 listed urinals in a pub!

This week is the third week of the new series on BBC2, total of 15 episodes. Next week is a new series of Continental Railway Journeys.

yeah I was wrong, it is America, and its 20 episodes, so four weeks. suspect it will be followed by a Continental ...

We watch it on a regular basis, there isn't much about trains traveling but its educational about the railway's history and its importance to the British economy with his Bradshaw's traveler guide

I watched him go from Haifa to Jerusalem last night. Saw the Bahai temple on which one of my customer's father replaced the Gold roof tiles.
