Hi,
I have a Roco loco equipped with ESU Lokpilot.
I would like to dim the lights whenever I want to so I receive low and high beam.

Is it possible to program the Lokpilot to have this function?
(F0 = low beam and F1 = high beam)

Thankful for helpful answersBigGrin

Hi!

With ESU LokPilot V4 it is possible to use different function keys to activate headlights with two different intensities. You can use e.g. F0 for reduced intensity and F1 for full intensity.

This is a new feature of V4 decoders and can be used for headlights, AUX1 and AUX2.
Regards
Tom

I love the LokPilot for its function and output flexibility! You create logical function mapping to activate the dimming function of the appropriate physical output(s).

Cheers!

I don't have mine in front of me, but it works something likes this:

Let's say F0 turns on/off the headlights (pretty normal setting). Set the associated physical output as dimmable. (it's a check box when using the ESU LokProgrammer).

Select another function key - let's use F1 - to dim or brighten the F0 light. For the function mapping, you select the associated physical outputs and the dimmer function under the logical function. I'll try to send a screen shot, but it's pretty easy.

Summary:
F0 - headlights on/off
F1 - headlights dim/bright

Cheers!

Hi,
I can´t manage to programme this function, do you have a screen shot?
