I don't now the real diameter but seems to me that is OK.
If anybody knows can give us the correct diameter
A member of the Swiss HAG forum went to the Lucerne transport museum today and measured the handrails of the crocodile exhibited there (same series as the Marklin model). The result is as expected: The handrails on the Marklin Ce 6/8 II are much too thick.

(rather longish and too difficult to translate, sorry).

Nice. And now it is as perfect as it was advertised to be, access hatches and all.
And I would say job well done by Märklin for fixing this so quickly and efficiently.
We all make mistakes. It is how we resolve them that defines integrity in a company or in a person.

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

I’m an Insider but bought this Lok on eBay from Joes for about AUD $750 which was cheaper and quicker than getting it through the formal channel. How can They do it ??
A newbie to this hobby, All Marklin HO, Swiss only, across all eras, largeish 5m x 4m layout in planning, small table top training table in operation.

I bought my Insider Croc directly at Joes as well, but as a regular Inisder order. I sent Joes a mail, if he can sent me the new caps for the crocs and so he did. But it needed some time befroe he got them from Märklin itself and forwarded to me.

Can the telex coupler be removed and replaced with some other NEM standard coupler?
