My Zeppelin (Hamo) worked fine when I bought it in 1980 and recently when I installed DCC. But yesterday it quit working. Taking the truck motor apart I found that the gears rotate about 180 degrees and then stops.

I've looked at the gears as much as I can and can't see any obstruction.

Help!

One thing comes to mind.

Dismantle motor, wash the truck with warm soapy water, brushing the gears with an old toothbrush, check the movement of the wheels once done. Inspect gears with a magnifying glass. If all seems ok, leave to dry and re assemble, lubricate, you should be operational again.

Thanks!

I'll give it a try.
