around 1999 when I was on a business trip to Germany, I created a virtual Geocache at the 'Sportfeld' station in Frankfurt, near the airport.

In order to log the cache, people have to either send me the signal number, or a photograph of a train taken at the location.

I thus get photographs of trains, or the station, almost every day. I now have thousands of images taken at the station.

In recent days I have noticed that pictures are including a NOHAB diesel parked on a siding!

It appears to be MY 1149. here are two images:

It appears that the lights are being kept on somehow!

Thought some folk may find this interesting...

Hi Dale,
What an interesting and innovative method of logging a geocache site.
Using email to log?

Former MY 1149 now belongs to the German company "Altmark Rail", see this recent picture: http://nohab-gm.de/Wochenbild/archiv/2017/wochenbilder2017.php

yes, they send me the images via email, and I the give them permission to log it. Many fail to follow the instructions and just log it directly. I do not have time to go and harvest all the images they post on their log.
