C-track shared by 2 IR controllers: room for improvement?

Joined: 23/08/2017(UTC) Posts: 9 Location: Lisboa, Lisbon		So, as I told you in another post, I bought 2 starter sets for grandsons. But the way they really enjoy themselves is by using one track, with each controlling his locomotive (one tank, one diesel) via his IR controller. Performance-wise, it seems there is some drag, especially when starting a locomotive running. Could this be due to base station "overload"? Any suggestions on possible improvement?
