2 IR controllers sharing the same base station? If not, then what?

I suspect the answer is "no", unless the locomotives "assigned" to each IR controller are of different types. But I have to ask anyway, in order to find the most economical way of having two grandsons sharing the same track but each controlling his locomotive(s), irrespective of type. Suggestions as to how best to achieve that objective will be gratefully welcome.

The answer is "Yes". It'll be less confusing if both controllers are set to individual (different) addresses. |
Regards Tom --- "In all of the gauges, we particularly emphasize a high level of quality, the best possible fidelity to the prototype, and absolute precision. You will see that in all of our products." (from Märklin New Items Brochure 2015, page 1) ROFLBTCUTS |
