In addition to the original 55033 and 55046 set, I have now received the 55146 and 55147 sets containing the upgraded T4 couchette coaches and one more WLAB MU in the Treno Notte livery. These coaches will supplement the older coach sets as well as the similar "Thello" sets to reproduce the consists as they run from Rome to France via the Simplon and Rhone valley routes. They can also be mixed with my Roco SNCF couchettes to reproduce the Venice-Paris and Rome-Paris consists in traditional liveries (Pre-Artesia).

The coaches can also be used to supplement my EN Roma Sets (55034/55035) and other consists as they ran on the Gotthard and Loetschberg lines.

Treno Notte is the night train livery of Trenitalia. The T4 is the latest upgraded version of the UIC Couchette coach. It was not unusual to find combinations of newer and older coaches around 2004, but by today most of the older coaches have been upgraded or taken out of international service.
Thello is a joint venture between Trenitalia and Veolia for trains between Italy and France (some through Switzerland)
The consists that I model represent these trains as they run between Domodossola (IT) and Vallorbe (FR) on the SBB Simplon line.

The main problem of EP. VI is that, as soon as you buy something, there's already a new livery out...

Since a few months the new livery of italian night trains is this one:

Ep. III (My layout is set in 1962).
I collect mainly DSB, DB and SBB but I'm quite... Open minded.
I'm quite a big collector of NOHAB lok :)

Yes, Trenitalia introduced the new Intercity Night livery for domestic night trains. I don't think that the Night Trains to France (Thello) have changed livery. I can continue to use the XMPR Comfort livery coaches for my pre-Artesia (SNCF-FS) and for my combined FS-SNCF Pilgrimage Charters as well as for other trains. Since all of the models are available, I am sure that ACME will be happy to bring out the Intercity Notte versions.
