I bought a lot of Marklin trains, rolling stock, track, switches with digital decoder, power, station etc in 2002-2004 and never used it. It is all new! Most in original boxes, except track, switches installed with motor and digital decoder, etc. Trying to sell everything at once, but wanted to get idea of how much to charge. Any opinion or advice would be appreciated.

You will lose money selling everything as a job lot, as any buyer will use the opportunity to squeeze the price down. I would do some research on auction sites/online shops for each item, then calculate an average price. I would look at sold items on auction sites for a realistic second hand pricing. If you are not in a hurry, I would recommend selling your higher value items (ie. locos, rolling stock, switches, Central Station, decoders....) piece by piece , and sell the tracks and scenery in small bundles. Wait until November/December to sell, as people are buying more at that time of the year and paying better prices. Any sale in the mean tine will lose you money.
