I will be attending EuroWest 2017, the yearly European Train Enthusiast's west coast model train show in San Carlos, CA.
http://www.ete.org/eurowest
A few members from the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the ETE will be running mostly Marklin analog on a small m-track layout. If you attend, please come and introduce yourself. I love meeting folks from the forum. BigGrin

Everybody, please stop by and introduce yourself at ETE SoCal module SIG layout!
The trailers are packed and ready to go.

I'm the grumpy looking guy operating the station and roundhouse area. They say SIG means Serious Interest Group.

See you,

Looking forward to Brian's talk on Saturday. I'm looking at building a smaller, vintage style M track layout that I can take on the road to shows... when I'm not playing with it at home!

LOL... that's what I get for posting before the coffee has kicked in ;)

Seriously though, about the smallest layout I ever built was a variation of Track Plan 1 from the old 0351 layout booklet, roughly a 3' X 5'. Not much room for running long consists, but small enough to fit in the back of my Tacoma for the occasional show appearance.

Hi,
I'm not really prepared for webcasts, but if you follow the YouTube link In my signature, you'll find a few reports from previous shows.

Regards,
Juha
