They set fire to several signal-cable conduits around the country protesting the G20 meeting upcoming, bringing rail traffic to a crawl in some areas, and of course causing serious damage to the conduits and cables.

This does give us a bit of non-typical insight into the cable routing conduits that run alongside the track.

In Britain they are less politically oriented. They usually nick the cables to sell the copper.BigGrin
