I have just finished assembling a Tams WD34 Decoder kit set, but the instruction manual is a little short on detail as to which of the input terminals (X8/X9) and (X17/X18) are 'Red and Brown' to match the usual Märklin convention - are there any builders out there that can clarify - many thanks in advance.
Also do not be mislead by an apparent 'typo' on page 41 of the English translation which refers to the cable connections for WD34 again - it should be SD34 which is an accessory/relay switching Decoder. The French, Dutch and of course German versions are OK

Hello Graham,

On a German forum i saw a small picture of the Tams WD-34.
You can see the colors of the wires.

tams wd - 34.jpg

Furthet about the power supply:

tams wd - 34 power supply.pdf (142kb) downloaded 27 time(s).

You can see 8 and 17 are for the power supply, 9 and 18 for the DCC central unit. Eventually you can combine if you use only the DCC central unit.

Hope you can go further with this.
